BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the BQ Academy website, learning programs, course materials, digital services, and related professional-development offerings.

Last updated: September 9, 2026
By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing or enrolling in a program, or using any course or learning material, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to any applicable program-specific Enrollment Terms published on the relevant sales page.

1. Operator and Scope

This website and the learning programs offered through it are operated by BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC, doing business through BQ ACADEMY and its related professional-development programs and services.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not access or use the website, enroll in a course, or use materials made available through the platform.

2. Use of Website and Learning Materials

Permission is granted to access and use the website and authorized learning materials for the personal professional-development purposes of the registered user. This is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license and does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, users may not:

  • modify, reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit course materials;
  • copy, record, download, distribute, upload, transmit, or publicly display protected video content;
  • share usernames, passwords, course access, or enrollment credentials;
  • reproduce or redistribute worksheets, templates, assessments, graphics, frameworks, or proprietary methodologies except for permitted personal professional-learning use;
  • use course materials to conduct another training program, seminar, workshop, commercial service, or educational offering;
  • remove copyright, trademark, authorship, proprietary, or other rights notices;
  • circumvent security, access controls, or technical restrictions; or
  • represent BUILD QUOTIENT® materials, frameworks, programs, or credentials as the user's own intellectual property.

3. Intellectual Property

The website, course content, videos, instructional materials, frameworks, graphics, templates, assessments, worksheets, publications, methodologies, trademarks, program names, and related intellectual property are owned by or lawfully used by BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC, unless otherwise identified.

Enrollment or purchase grants only the rights expressly stated in these Terms and in the applicable Enrollment Terms. It does not grant a right to reproduce, license, distribute, teach, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the materials.

4. Enrollment Terms Applicable to Courses and Programs

The following provisions reflect the enrollment conditions also used on APA–CPMP course sales pages. Where a sales page contains more specific dates, schedules, deliverables, or conditions, the published course-specific terms apply to that enrollment.

4.1 Course Access — 60 Days

Unless a different period is expressly stated for a particular program or cohort, enrollment provides access to published course content for 60 days from the participant's enrollment or activation date.

At the end of the access period, access may automatically expire. Participants are responsible for completing required learning activities within the applicable period.

4.2 Video and Downloadable Learning Materials

Video lessons are provided for streaming access during the enrollment period and are not downloadable unless expressly stated otherwise. Designated non-video learning materials may be downloaded for the enrolled participant's personal professional-learning use.

Downloaded materials remain subject to all intellectual-property and individual-use restrictions contained in these Terms.

4.3 Required Activities and Course Completion

Participants must complete the required lessons, knowledge checks, EXECUTE activities, assessments, and other completion requirements prescribed for the applicable course.

Submission or completion of an activity does not by itself establish occupational competency. Where professional judgment or applied evidence is required, participants may be required to explain or defend the basis of their work.

4.4 Live Online Sessions

Where live online participation forms part of the published program, participants are responsible for attending the scheduled sessions. Advance access to asynchronous materials does not automatically substitute for required live participation where attendance or guided participation forms part of completion requirements.

4.5 Certificates and Professional Recognition

Certificates are issued only after successful completion of the applicable course requirements.

Any CPD credit, CMDF recognition, or other external recognition is subject to the rules, requirements, and continuing validity of the relevant accrediting, regulatory, professional, or institutional body. Course completion does not by itself constitute a separate occupational competency credential unless expressly stated.

4.6 Original Work, Academic Integrity, and Assessment Evidence

Submitted work must substantially represent the participant's own professional analysis and application. Plagiarism, falsification of evidence, misrepresentation of another person's work, unauthorized collaboration, or unauthorized sharing of assessment answers may result in rejection of the submission, withholding of completion recognition, or removal from the program.

4.7 Individual Enrollment and Course Access

Individual enrollment is licensed for use by one registered participant only. Login credentials and course access may not be shared.

4.8 Payments

Enrollment is confirmed only after successful payment or an approved organizational enrollment arrangement. Payment methods may vary according to the payment provider and transaction location.

Participants are responsible for any charges imposed by their own bank, card issuer, payment provider, foreign-exchange provider, or other third party that are not included in the published course fee.

4.9 Refunds, Cancellations, and Non-Delivery

Course enrollment is a commitment to a defined professional learning program. Refunds are not offered on the basis of dissatisfaction, change of mind, inability to attend, failure to complete the course, scheduling conflict, or a participant's personal assessment that the course did not meet expectations.

A refund may be considered where BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC is unable to substantially deliver the enrolled program as published, including where:

  • the program is cancelled without an available replacement schedule;
  • the purchased course access is not provided;
  • a required live component is not provided and no reasonable rescheduled session or equivalent arrangement is offered; or
  • a duplicate or erroneous payment is confirmed.

Where a scheduled live session must be moved, BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC may first offer a rescheduled session, replacement cohort, transfer, or other reasonable delivery arrangement. A schedule change by itself does not automatically create a refund entitlement where the program can still be substantially delivered.

Any refund due because of non-delivery will be limited to the amount actually paid for the affected enrollment and will be processed in accordance with the original payment method and applicable payment-provider requirements.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Philippine law.

4.10 Enrollment Transfers

At the discretion of BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC, a participant who cannot continue with the originally scheduled program may be permitted to transfer to a later available cohort of the same course. Transfers are subject to availability, applicable deadlines, and published administrative conditions.

A transfer is an enrollment accommodation and is not equivalent to a refund.

4.11 Privacy and Course Communications

Enrollment information may be used to administer the course, provide access, communicate schedules and requirements, issue certificates, maintain learning and completion records, and provide applicable professional-development documentation in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.

4.12 Enterprise and Organizational Enrollments

Bulk, enterprise, corporate, institutional, or sponsored enrollments may be governed by separate written commercial, billing, access, transfer, reporting, or delivery terms. Where such terms are formally agreed in writing, those provisions apply to the extent they differ from these individual enrollment terms.

5. Accuracy of Information

BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate, relevant, and current information. Construction practices, laws, regulations, standards, accreditation requirements, professional requirements, technology, pricing, schedules, and other information may change over time.

Website and course materials are provided for professional learning and development and should not be treated as a substitute for project-specific professional judgment, applicable law, contract documents, regulatory requirements, technical standards, or advice appropriate to the circumstances of a particular project.

6. Professional Responsibility

Participants remain responsible for the professional decisions they make and for determining whether information, methods, templates, tools, or frameworks presented through a course are appropriate for a particular project, contract, organization, jurisdiction, or professional responsibility.

7. User Accounts and Access

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts. BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorized sharing, misuse of materials, fraudulent activity, intellectual-property infringement, academic misconduct, or a material violation of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

This website may contain links to external websites, payment services, professional organizations, regulators, standards bodies, learning resources, or other third-party services. BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC does not control all third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, policies, privacy practices, security, or continued operation.

9. Availability of Website and Services

BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to its website and digital learning services but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, internet disruption, system upgrades, technical failures, cybersecurity requirements, force majeure, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising solely from the use or inability to use the website or learning materials. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

11. Changes to Programs and Website Content

BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC may update website content, course materials, program structures, schedules, delivery arrangements, policies, or related services where reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting an enrolled participant's ability to receive a purchased program will be handled in accordance with the applicable Enrollment Terms and non-delivery provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be revised periodically to reflect changes in law, services, programs, technology, operations, or organizational requirements. The version published on this website at the applicable time constitutes the current Terms and Conditions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights established by applicable law.

14. Privacy Policy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy of BUILD QUOTIENT AEC MANAGEMENT OPC.
